Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western airstreams in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general , while the weather will be misty in the eastern, and al-Badiya areas, rain howers are expected over the northwesterly and al-Jazeera areas.
The winds will be western to southwestern, while the sea waves will be high in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/8, Daraa 19/8, Homs 17/8, Lattakia 19/14, Aleppo 17/8 and Deir Ezzor 22/13.
