Russian Energy Minister: Russian companies to participate in the rehabilitation of oil fields in Syria

Moscow, SANA- Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak said that cooperation in the oil and gas sector between Russia and Syria provides for recovery and development of oil and gas fields in Syria.

“We have signed a separate roadmap. We consider the power sector and the oil and gas industry, mostly the restoration and the development of oil fields,” Novak told reporters on Tuesday.

On February 6th, Syria and Russia signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of energy and mineral resources.
