New York, SANA- UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres reiterated his positive stance towards the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in the Russian city of Sochi.
Russian Novosti News Agency quoted Deputy Spokesman for the UN Secretary-General Farhan Haq as saying in a statement that “Guterres expressed satisfaction that Sochi Congress will significantly contribute to Geneva process.”
On Sunday, the Russian Foreign Ministry welcomed Guterres’ decision to send his Special Envoy for Syria Staffan De Mistura to participate in the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in Sochi.
