Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain above average by 2 to 4 degrees as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the sky will be partly cloudy in general, rain showers are expected over the northern, western, and coastal areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in a number of the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Sweida 3 mm, Daraa 9 mm, Homs 12mm,Hama 7mm, Tartous 4 mm, and Lattakia 31 mm.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 15/6, Daraa 16/9, Homs 13/7, Lattakia 18/11, Aleppo 12/6, and Deir Ezzor 15/7.
