Gatilov: Syrian “opposition” still puts preconditions during Geneva talks

Moscow, SANA- Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Gennady Gatilov, stressed that Syrian “opposition” still insists on putting preconditions during Geneva talks although it claims the opposite.

Gatilov was quoted by Sputnik Agency as saying in a statement that the obstacles facing Geneva talks are related to putting preconditions by the “opposition” regarding the legitimate leadership in Syria at the expense of the integrated political settlement.

“Moscow doesn’t only support Geneva talks, but it also works actively with the Syrian Government and the opposition at the same time for holding a constructive dialogue.” He concluded.
