Damascus, SANA – The People’s Assembly discussed on Thursday the new draft law on post, approving Articles 1 to 10.

The bill stipulates for supporting, regulating and developing the postal sector, in addition to supporting the comprehensive service and encouraging fair competition between different operators in the performance of postal services.

The bill also focuses on creating the favorable environment to ensure the provision and development of postal services and the development of the postal sector, thus contributing to the promotion of sustainable development in Syria.
