Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed on Tuesday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al-Safadi urgent regional issues, mainly finding a solution to the crisis in Syria.
RT website quoted Russian Foreign Ministry as saying that Lavrov and al-Safadi stressed during a phone call the need for respecting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in accordance with the provisions of UN resolution 2254.
The two Ministers also discussed the measures which are being taken by Russia, Jordan and some other countries to boost the cessation of hostilities in Syria , particularly in regards to the de-escalation zones memorandum.
