The body of late great musician Sohail Arafa escorted to his final resting place

Damascus, SANA-The body of the great musician Sohail Arafa was escorted to his final resting place from al-Tuliani Hospital to Lala Pasha Mosque into al-Dahdah cemetery in Damascus.

Arafa is one of the most famous contemporary Syrian songwriters and one of the most important Arabic composers.

Throughout his long career, he received many awards and honors , he was awarded the Syrian Order of Merit of Excellent Degree by President Bashar al-Assad.

The late musician passed away on Thursday at the age of 82 after suffering from an incurable disease.
