Syria, Algeria discuss reactivating transport cooperation

Damascus, SANA-Transport Minister Ali Hammoud discussed on Wednesday with Algerian Ambassador in Damascus Saleh Bosha means to develop economic relations between the two countries and implement all the bilateral agreements and protocols in the transport sector.

The minister affirmed the ministry’s readiness to provide all facilitations and accelerate the pace of work on all levels to help promote trade exchange between Syria and Algeria.

He highlighted the importance of opening marine and air lines especially that Algeria has many products needed by Syria, which in return has many products to be exported.

He stressed the need to re-operate the Algerian airlines to Damascus in light of the number of the Syrian expatriates living in Algeria and that of the Algerian expatriates working and staying in Damascus.

For his part, Bosha expressed his country’s readiness to cooperate and develop the trade relations with Syria through coordination between the concerned parts in the two countries.
