Assistant FM affirms expatriates’ role in the reconstruction process in Syria

Warsaw, SANA – Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister Ayman Sousan briefed a group of the Syrian community members in Poland on the latest developments of the situation in Syria, during a meeting on Friday evening.

Sousan hailed the resilience of the Syrian people and the steadfastness of the Syrian Arab Army and its successive victories against the terrorist organizations which will lead to restoring peace and security to the homeland.

He asserted that the national sovereignty is “a red line” according to all the Syrians and no one will be allowed to interfere in the choices of the Syrian people as they are the only ones who have the right to decide the fate of their country.

Sousan expressed Syria’s pride in the stance of the Syrian communities abroad and the efforts they exert to enhance the resilience of their fellow Syrians at home, shedding light on the important role which the expatriates could play in the reconstruction process in Syria.

For their part, members of the Syrian community in Poland expressed appreciation of the heroic steadfastness of the Syrian people and the great sacrifices of the Syrian army personnel.

They reiterated their support to the homeland to defeat the conspiracies hatched against it and to contribute to the reconstruction process.
