Moscow, SANA – Presidential Affairs Minister Mansour Azzam on Friday met Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin in Moscow, discussing with him economic cooperation and means to improve the performance of the permanent joint committee for economic, commercial, scientific, and technical cooperation.
Azzam handed Rogozin a letter from Prime Minister Imad Khamis directed to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.
Azzam and Rogozin discussed means to prepare a work plan as per the directives of President Bashar al-Assad and President Vladimir Putin to develop and enhance cooperation between Syria and Russia in all fields, particularly economic fields, with Rogozin affirming his country’s commitment to providing all necessary support to Syrian economy and alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people.
