Provinces, SANA – Units of the army and the armed forces eliminated Thursday terrorists in several provinces and destroyed their weaponry, hideouts and dens.
A military source told SANA that army units have discovered and destroyed a network of linked 14-meter-deep tunnels in Joubar neighborhood in Damascus that terrorists had been using for movement and transporting weapons.
Other army units killed and injured scores of terrorists at Aliyeh farms in Douma area, in addition to destroying their dens and gatherings in Maida’a farms in the eastern Ghouta.
Large numbers of terrorists who stationed in the tunnels were killed, according to the source.
In the same context, the army units clashed with terrorists in Daraya, Khan al-Sheeh and Drwosha neighborhoods, killing and injuring scores of them, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.
A military source told SANA that army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the old city of Aleppo, al-Shaar, al-Zerbeh, Ba’idin, the Industrial City, al-Jandoul, al-Mislmiyeh, Kwairis, al-Hader, Kafer Hamra, Tal Qarah, Hreitan, Dahret Abde Rabbouh and Izaz in Aleppo and in its countryside.
The army units killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed a number of cars in addition to an ammunition cache in Tal Jibbin in the army operation.
A military source said army units targeted terrorist dens and gatherings in the villages of Salam Gharbi, Um al-Rish, Masaada, al-Zaafaranah, al-Amiriyah and Tal Dahab in Homs countryside.
Several terrorists were killed and others wounded in the operations, with 4 pick-up trucks loaded with ammos destroyed, according to the source.
The source told SANA that an army unit has repelled an armed terrorist group that attempted to infiltrate towards military checkpoints to the southwest of Um Sharshouh town in Homs countryside. Several terrorists were killed and others wounded.
The army unit confiscated amounts of weapons, including two machineguns, an automatic rifle, RPG launcher, an Israeli-made hand grenade and amounts of ammos in the operation.
Meanwhile, army units repelled terrorist groups which tried to attack the farms of Jub al-Jarrah village in Homs countryside, killing and wounding terrorists there.
Moreover, competent authorities have seized two cars loaded with rockets and ammos in Hama city.
A military source told SANA that an army unit thwarted an armed terrorist group’s infiltration attempt from Tissiya town in Daraa countryside on the Syrian-Jordanian borders into a military checkpoint, killing and injuring a number of its members.
The source added that units of the armed forces targeted armed terrorist groups on Samlin-Zimrin roundabout and in Etman in Daraa countryside and destroyed a car with all the terrorist inside it.
The army units also targeted an armed terrorist group to the southeast of al-Hajjeh village in the western countryside of Daraa, eliminating all its members and destroying a car with all the terrorists driving it.
Units of the armed forces killed a number of terrorists, some non-Syrians, in a military operation targeting two terrorist’s dens in Shnan village in al-Zawiya mountain in Idleb countryside, a military source told SANA.
The source added that the army units also destroyed an ammunition and rocket’s cache and a number of cars equipped with heavy machineguns in the military operation.
Army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in Haj Hammoud farm, Binnish and Kafroumeh.
Army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the villages of Atman, al-Hajeh, al-Karak, Busra al-Sham, Salmin, Zamein and al-Thuraiyeh-al=Fqai’a road in Daraa countryside, killing and injuring scores of them.
A military source told SANA that other army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in the Old Customs and al-Bajabjeh and al-Bado districts in Daraa al-Balad, destroying their weapons and ammunition.
The army units killed and injured many terrorists in Ofaniyeh, al-Zbaideh, Bi’aer Ajam, Rasm al-Baghil and Hursh in Quneitra countryside, eliminating a number of them, in addition to destroying their equipment.
Car bomb seized in Homs city
In Homs city, a car bombed was seized in the Armen neighborhood and it was dismantled by the military engineering units.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that the competent authorities, in cooperation with residents, seized a Hyundai Avanti car carrying 400 kilograms of explosives parked by terrorists in an active-movement street.
Terrorist attacks injure citizen, cause material damage in Damascus Countryside
A citizen was injured by terrorist attacks on al-Wafaideen camp and Harasta Suburb in Damascus Countryside.
A source at the Police command told SANA that a citizen was injured by a sniper bullet in al-Wafaideen Camp in Damascus Countryside.
The source pointed out that terrorists fired 5 mortar shells on Harasta Suburb, causing material damage to a number of houses with no human casualties.
