Prague, SANA – Czech members of the “Hands Off Syria” initiative staged a sit-in on Sunday in front of the U.S. Embassy in Prague to protest the hostile American policies towards Syria.

The participants expressed solidarity with Syria in its war on terrorism and demanded that the unjust sanctions imposed on Syrians by the West be lifted.

Former Czech Foreign Affairs Minister, former President of the UN General Assembly Jan Kavan was among the participants in the sit-in, along with Czech citizens and members of the Syrian community in the Czech Republic.
