Jordan sends 300 tons of aid to Syria

Damascus, SANA- The Jordanian Embassy in Damascus announced Tuesday the arrival of a Jordanian aid convoy to the brotherly Syrian people, provided by the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in implementation of the royal directives to support the Syrian people and alleviate their suffering.

The Embassy told SANA that the convoy was loaded with about 300 tons of relief, food and health supplies and was part of a series of aid convoys that Jordan would send to different Syrian areas.

The convoy was received by Chargé d ‘affaires of the Jordanian Embassy in Damascus, Dr. Basil al-Kayed, and it was delivered to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent at Jaber border crossing.
