Syria ,Iraq discuss means of boosting security cooperation

Baghdad, SANA- Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani discussed with Minister of Interior, Major General Muhammad al-Rahmoun, enhancing means of security cooperation between Iraq and Syria.

The Iraqi Prime Minister, said in a statement that the discussions dealt with mechanisms for security cooperation between the two brotherly countries in many common files, especially those related to the file of combating terrorism and drugs.

The statement pointed out to the importance of communication between the security officials of the two countries and cooperation in the field of exchange Intelligence information.

Al-Sudani affirmed that Iraq is ready to exert the utmost cooperation with Syria to establish security on the common border between the two countries terrorism in a way that helps enhance the security of the two countries for the stability of the region.
