Damascus, SANA-Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr. Fayssal Mikdad offered condolences to victims of tragic fire incident in Nineveh province in northern Iraq at chancery of Iraqi Embassy in Damascus.
Mikdad extended condolences, on behalf of the Syrian people, government and leadership.
“The tragedy that has befallen the people in Nineveh province is a tragedy for all Syrians because there is no difference between the Syrians and the Iraqi peoples as the two brotherly countries suffer from terrorism, sanctions, and interference in their internal affairs ,” Mikdad said in a statement to the journalists.
The Foreign Minister reiterated Syria’s support to Iraq and its brotherly people.
