Sana’a, SANA- Yemen has condemned the Israeli aggression on Damascus and its environs on Sunday at dawn in which five were martyred and 15 were injured.
“The Zionist aggression on Damascus is a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity,” Almasirah Website quoted the Yemeni Foreign ministry as saying in a statement, adding that Damascus has the right to take all necessary measures in order to defend itself and protect its territory
The Yemeni Foreign Ministry called on international community to condemn the blatant Zionist aggression, which contradicts with the UN Charter and all international norms and conventions, expressing full solidarity with the Syrian government and people.
For its part, the Regional leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party in Yemen has also condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli aggression on Syria.
The party’s regional leadership criticized the shameful silence of the world and the institutions of the international community, led by the United Nations, regarding this criminal aggression, and called on Arab and Islamic countries and peoples to express their condemnation of this aggressive and cowardly behavior.
It also called on the international community and the UN to take a clear and strong stance regarding the respect for Syria’s sovereignty and to pass a firm resolution by the Security Council to put an end to the repeated aggressive acts of the Zionist entity and terrorist organizations against the Syrians, stressing it full solidarity with the Syrian government and people
