MP Juma’a: Syrian- Iranian Parliamentary cooperation contributes to boosting relations in various fields

Tehran, SANA- A member of the People’s Assembly and Vice-Chairman of the Syria-Iran Friendship Association, Dr. Haifa Juma’a said that Syrian –Iranian ties are deeply rooted in history.

The bilateral cooperation between Syria and Iran, particularly in the parliamentary field, contributes to enhancing relations in various fields to reach common goals, face challenges and achieve the interests of the two friendly peoples, the MP said in a statement upon her arrival in Tehran Monday at the head of an official delegation from the Friendship Committee of the People’s Assembly of Syria.

For his part, Syrian Ambassador in Tehran, Dr. Shafiq Dayoub expressed confidence that this visit would contribute to strengthening Syrian-Iranian relations.

Vice-Chairman of the Syria-Iran Friendship Association, Abbas Kelro said that very useful decisions were taken during the previous visit of the Iranian delegation to Damascus.
