China calls for lifting unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria

New York, SANA- China called for the immediate and full lifting of Western unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, demanding UN Security Council to set clear provisions in order to achieve this purpose.

‘We always supported the UN and the International Community in providing humanitarian aid to Syria in accordance with principles of humanity, neutrality and impartiality’, Xinhua quoted Dai Bing, China’s deputy permanent representative to the UN as saying at a session of UN General Assembly.

He warned of the negative effects of unilateral coercive measures on social and economic recovery and development in Syria by hindering the work of international humanitarian agencies there, and therefore they must be lifted immediately and completely.
