Lavrov: Russia and China seek to establish multipolar world order

Beijing, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, affirmed Russia’s keenness on the firm and continuous developing of relations with China, noting that both countries seek to establish a fair and multipolar world order

“We are interested in developing relations with China steadily and continuously, and that was agreed upon by both countries’ Presidents, the Russian President, Vladimir Putin and the Chinese President, Xi Jinping,” RT Today website quoted Lavrov as saying in statements during a meeting with his counterpart Wang Yi in on Wednesday.

He added that Russia, China and their partners will move together towards a multipolar and fair world order based on the outcomes of the dangerous stage that the history of international relations is going through.

For his part, Chinese Foreign Minister stressed that the relations between the two countries have withstood the new challenges of the changing international situation and have maintained the right path of mutual development.
