Syrian Special Olympics team raises medals in MENA Regional Games to 67

Cairo, SANA – The Syrian mission to the 8th Special Olympics of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Regional Games scored 30 medals and raised its total medals to 67.

The team won 13 medals in the swimming competitions, two gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze. Three gold medals and one bronze were scored in the equestrian games.

In athletics, the Syrian team won 7 medals, including three gold, one silver and three bronze. The Alpucci competition witnessed two Syrian gold medals and two bronze ones.

The Syrian team won three silver medals and two bronze in cycling contests and two gold medals in the badminton competitions. The total medals for today, Tuesday, was 10 gold medals, 8 silver and 8 bronze.

The total medals scored by the Syrian teams were 22 gold medals, 23 silver medals and 22 bronze ones.
