High school students start taking final exams amid tight precautionary measures

Damascus, SANA- Secondary Education (high school) students on Sunday started to take their final exams for the year 2020 for the scientific, literary, Sharia, and vocational branches of the high school certificate (Baccalaureate certificate) amid tight precautionary measures for addressing the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

The literary branch exams will continue until July 12th while the exams of the scientific, vocational and Sharia branches will last till July 14th.

Earlier, the Ministry of Education issued a statement in which it confirmed that it takes all health and precautionary measures to ensure the success of the exam process at 1900 exam centers.

On April 28th, the Ministry issued a decision setting June 21st as the date for beginning the secondary education certificate final exams for one exam course and June 22nd for basic education certificate final exams.
