Monday weather: Thundershowers expected over coastal mountains

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure in accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general in most areas and they will become cloudy sometimes over the coastal mountains in the evening and at night and thundershowers are expected to fall.

The wind will be southwesterly with a moderate speed in the western and southeastern areas and it will become active with dusty conditions in the eastern and al-Badia (semi-desert) areas while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18-4, Daraa 18-5, Homs 16-2, Lattakia 21-8, Aleppo 9-2 and Deir Ezzor 18-6.
