Temperatures above average in most areas, skies partially cloudy 

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become above average in most areas as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday day bulletin that the skies will be partially cloudy to become cloudy in the evening and at night over the coastal and northwestern areas as thundershowers are expected to fall over these areas.

The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a moderate speed and active gusts particularly over the eastern and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 8/17, Daraa 11/22, Homs 6/19, Lattakia 15/23, Aleppo 7/20 and Deir Ezzor 8/22.
