Two children martyred, three injured in a mine blast in Homs northern countryside

Homs, SANA- Two children were martyred and three others were injured in a blast of a mine left behind by terrorists in the area of Housh Hajou in Homs northern countryside.

SANA reporter in Homs said that a mine left behind by terrorists in Housh Hajou area in the northern countryside went off claiming the lives of two children and injuring three others as some of them are in a critical condition.

The reporter added that the injured were rushed to al-Bassel Hospital in Karm al-Louz to receive the required treatment.

Dr. Naser Edris, Director of the hospital told SANA that the hospital received  bodies of two children who were martyred in severe injuries of shrapnel and three other children who were injured because of the mine explosion.

Ahead of their defeat, terrorist organizations planted mines and explosive devices in the agricultural lands and the surroundings of the residential neighborhoods and houses to target the civilians as a part of their criminal practices.
