Moscow: Astana next meeting on Syria will be on August 1st and 2nd

Moscow, SANA- Special representative of the Russian President, Deputy Foreign Minister, Michael Bogdanov said on Wednesday that the meeting on Astana formula about the crisis in Syria will be held on the 1st and 2nd of August in the Kazakh capital of Nur-Sultan.

“The date of the meeting is fixed and agreed upon by all sides concerned,” Bogdanov said in a statement to Sputnik.

“There will be tangible and specified ideas to agree on forming the constitutional committee and the last third of it,” Bogdanov added, affirming that consultations have been made with the UN Special envoy for Syria Geir Pederen here in Moscow.
