335 food packages distributed to besieged citizens in Yarmouk Camp

Damascus, SANA – United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugee (UNRWA), in cooperation with the Syrian Government, distributed Tuesday a humanitarian and relief aid to the citizens besieged by the armed terrorist groups in al-Yarmouk Camp in Damascus.

Director of the General Commission for the Arab Palestinian Refugees Ali Mustafa told SANA that the Commission and (UNRWA) distributed 335 food packages to the citizens in Rama Street, adding that UNRWA medical point resumed offering medical services.

Mustafa pointed out that the distributing process will be resumed on Wednesday.

Families in the camp are suffering from a blockade imposed by a number of armed organizations who obstruct carrying out several initiatives to end this suffering.
