Monday weather forecast: Temperatures lower than average, rain showers expected in various areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly rise yet remain lower than average from 2 to 4 degrees as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by wet western air
currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be between clear to partly cloudy in general to become cloudy in the afternoon on the costal and northern areas; thunder rain showers are expected on those areas then it will be extended to all other areas.

The winds will be southwestern of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be moderate in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 26/13, Daraa 25/13, Homs 24/11, Hama 26/13, Lattakia 25/19, Aleppo 24/12 and Deir Ezzor 29/17.
