Damascus, SANA – An iftar banquet for families of martyrs was held on Saturday evening at Majesty restaurant in Damascus, organized by Bregma for Exhibitions and Conferences and Majesty restaurant as part of the “Cham al-Kheir” initiative launched by the Tourism Ministry.
Assistant Tourism Minister Rami Martini said this event is a small token of gratitude to the families of martyrs, adding that the sons of martyrs represent Syria’s future and must be taken care of.
For her part, director of Bregma Nancy Ajlani said that this banquet seeks to send a message that the families of martyrs are ever Syrian’s responsibility, and that the public and private sector alike must provide support for them.
In turn, public relations director at Majesty Fatima Hammoud said the banquet catered to over 150 relatives of martyrs, and that the restaurant is ready to take part in any similar initiative and cooperate with all activities to help bring a measure of joy to the families and children of martyrs.
