100 families of martyrs honored in Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA – Council of Lattakia city honored Sunday 100 families of martyrs.

“Was it not for the army’s sacrifices, we wouldn’t have been able to hold our ground and foil the conspiracy,” Governor of Lattakia Ahmad Sheikh Abdul-Qader.

Secretary of Lattakia branch of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Mohammad Shreitah praised the martyrs’ relatives for upbringing their sons on the love for the homeland and raising their awareness on the importance of defending it no matter the sacrifices.
