Hama, SANA – Electricity Minister Imad Khamis stressed the importance of ensuring the continuing work of Mhardeh power plant through training the technical and administrative staff and through commitment to work under tough circumstances.
Inspecting maintenance work in the plant, the Minister met its administrative staff, stressing to them the need for curbing administrative and vocational corruption to preserve the plant.
For his part, Hama governor Ghassan Khalaf said that the governorate will spare no efforts to secure all equipment needed for maintaining the plant’s readiness.
General Director of the plant Ali Haifa said that the four generator arrays in the plant are ready to work, hailing the role of the plant’s staff in speeding up maintenance work since it the plant was damaged by terrorists in June.
