Tehran, SANA – For the third year in a row, the Syrian Arab Cultural Center is participating in Tehran Summer Festival 2014, along with other countries which include Lebanon, Iraq, Japan, Germany, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, and Sierra Leone.
The Syrian booth presented posters of the famous tourist sites and summer resorts in Syria, as well as other posters which narrate the story of the Syrian civilization over thousands of years.
Posters of religious sites, both Islamic and Christian, and important archeological and historical sites were also showcased in the booth.
A special section was dedicated to illustrating the current crisis in Syria through a collection of photos depicting the destruction perpetrated by the armed terrorist groups against people, infrastructure, and archeological sites.
On the sideline of this event, a Syrian restaurant participating in the Festival served Syrian cuisine including famous local dishes and sweets, which were popular among the Iranian visitors.
The Festival, which is organized by Tehran municipality, will last until the middle of September.
