Aleppo, SANA – Aleppo Governor Hussein Diab discussed on Tuesday with Chairman of the Syrian-French Friendship Committee Gerard Bapt and the accompanying delegation the stage of reconstructing and rebuilding the city of Aleppo after it has been cleared of terrorism.
The Governor presented a review to the delegation on the services situation and the reality of living in Aleppo city which is working on removing the traces of terrorism that had afflicted it, pointing out to the volume of destruction inflicted upon its antiquities, schools, hospitals, infrastructure, and service facilities.
He called upon the delegation to convey the reality of the situation in the city and the systematic crimes committed in it by terrorists to the French people, stressing that terrorism does not only threaten Syria, but the entire world.
For his part, the French MP Bapt clarified that the delegation’s visit to Aleppo aims at inspecting the situation there extensively and discussing means of providing humanitarian and services aid, pointing out that the delegation’s agenda includes visits to health institutions and the Old City in order to provide suitable assistance to Aleppo residents in the near future.
