Damascus, SANA – Temperatures continue to rise to become above average by 2 to 4 degrees as the country is under the influence of a high air pressure system with northwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that it will be clear and cold in general. Frost is expected over the mountains and in some internal areas.
The winds will be northwesterly of light speed and the sea waves will be of low amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 18/03, Daraa 17/04, Homs 17/03, Hama 18/02, Lattakia 21/08, Aleppo 17/00, Deir Ezzor 18/05.
