Beirut, SANA – Participants in the Antiochian Unity Conference called upon the international community to justly consider what is taking place in the Middle East, particularly in Syria.
During the conclusion of the conference, the participants urged all sides to exert utmost efforts for bringing peace in Syria as a guarantee for peace in the region and the whole world.
In the final statement read by Patriarch John X Yazigi of Antioch and All the East for Greek Orthodox Church, the participants appealed to the Arab and international bodies to concert efforts for releasing all those kidnapped by the armed terrorist groups.
