Homs, SANA-A car loaded with over 270 kg of explosive materials was dismantled in al-Arman neighborhood in Homs city.
A source in the province said the authorities were tipped off a HyundaiAvante car parked in the neighborhood which raised the locals’ suspicions. Upon inspection, the car was found to contain 120 kg of C4, a high explosive material, in addition to another 150 kg of explosives.
An investigation is underway to reveal the identity of those behind the dismantled car bomb, the source added.
Homs city has recently seen a spate of terrorist attacks with car bombs and explosive devices that claimed hundreds of lives.
