A voluntary team of Syrian youths launches project on positive change in society

Damascus, SANA- Hoping to rebuild the homeland, a Voluntary team of elite Syrian youths unites its volunteers’ aspirations by launching a project to make a positive change in society which includes a group of distinguished experiences.

The project dubbed “Sada Shamna” or “Echo of our Damascus” aims at working positively to surpass the negative effects the current crisis left behind, find the appropriate solutions which mitigate the suffering of the Syrian people, motivate the individual’s potentials to make the required change and enhance the steadfastness of the Syrian Arab army.

“The basic target of this project is to study the most prominent problems facing the Syrian society for the sake of finding solutions for the daily problems encountering Syrians after surveying their opinions and stimulating their positive spirit through holding constructive dialogues,” representative of the team, Issam Qarqashli told SANA.

He asserted that to make a success to the project and to achieve its goals, the team is exerting efforts to hold consultative meetings at the Syrian universities, societies and centers to enhance the personal capabilities of the social strata, on top, the youths and to hold training symposiums and activities in different fields.

Qarqashli pointed out that the voluntary youths in the project are committed to offer successful ways to improve Syrians’ life and to meet their requirements, affirming that the project is dealing with the youths because they are the lifeblood of society and change starts with them towards a new level of awareness.

One of the volunteers, Walaa al-Qazaz said that the Syrian youths are capable of offering remarkable achievements in the hardest times, proceeding from the fact that every Syrian citizen is a soldier in the trench in which he works.

She added that basic objective of the team is to help the Syrian youths and raise their awareness to successfully and hopefully continue their life.
