Homs, SANA, Homs governor Talal al-Barzi said Monday a basic strategy will be put to reconstruct and rehabilitate infrastructure affected by terrorist acts after estimating the current situation in all neighborhoods.
During a meeting with a number of special engineering teams, al-Barazi said after restoring security and stability to the old City of Homs, the idea of reconstructing this area became more realistic.
He pointed out that a series of meetings will be held to offer proposals that include “New ideas for Homs city’s future.”
Al-Barzai added that after reviewing the old urban projects of the city, work teams will be formed to present the needed studies.
The studies will be referred to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and Ministry of Local Administration to reach logical results that serve the process of rebuilding the province.
