Arnous, Mokhber stresses strengthening of bilateral cooperation in various fields

Damascus-SANA- Prime Minister Hussein Arnous and Iranian First Vice President, Mohammad Mokhber confirmed during a phone call on Thursday the keenness of both sides to follow through all the joint cooperation projects that were agreed upon.

During the call, the two sides discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially in the domain of energy, oil derivatives, and transportation, along with implementing a number of joint projects and overcoming the difficulties facing them in a way that secures the needs of the local market and serves the Syrian economy in the face of the embargo imposed.

Arnous thanked the Iranian leadership, government and people for the support they provide to the Syrian people, noting that such support is engraved in the conscience of Syrian citizens.

Mokhber attached great importance to bolstering the existing bilateral ties and expanding their horizons, reiterating his country’s support for the Syrians to enable them to confront the repercussions of the blockade.
