Baghdad, SANA- Six terrorists were arrested in Nineveh Governorate in northern Iraq, Iraqi Interior Ministry announced on Monday.
Iraqi News Agency (INA) quoted the Ministry’s Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency (FIIA) as saying in a statement that ” based on accurate intelligence, six wanted suspects were arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article (four) of Anti-Terrorism Law in Nineveh Governorate.”
The statement added that the arrested suspects participated in fighting the security services and assaulting citizens in exchange for sums of money.
Yesterday, Iraqi forces arrested an ISIS terrorist in the same governorate.
