Al-Foutoua beats Wathba 2-1, leads Syrian first league

Damascus, SANA-Syrian football team of al- Foutoua beat al-Wathba 2-1 in a match that was held Friday on al-Basel stadium in Homs to raise its points to 40 and lead the Syrian First League.

Meanwhile, Al-Ettihad Ahli of Aleppo beat its counterpart al-Majd 1-0 in the game held on al-Jala stadium in Damascus.

Al-Jaish tied with al-Talia 0-0, Jableh beat al-Karama 1-0, Hiteen and al-Wahda 1-1.

Al-Foutoua leads the championship with 40 points, followed by Ahli of Aleppo 39 points, Jableh in the third place with 35 and Tishreen comes four with 33 points.
