Moscow,SANA- Ministry of Defense announced Friday that Russian forces downed a Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopter and eliminated about ten Ukrainian personnel on Zaporozhye axis.
Alexander Gordeev, a spokesman for the Russian Vostok Group, said in a statement to Sputnik that the Ukrainian helicopter downed by Buk air defense systems after it attempted to launch an air strike on Russian positions in Timirovka town ,an armored vehicle was also destroyed and about ten Ukrainian servicemen were killed.
The Russian forces continue their special military operation and complete the liberation of the four regions that joined the Russian Federation recently.
