Arnous inaugurates project of irrigating Khanaser town with a cost of SYP 8 billion

Aleppo, SANA- Prime Minister, Eng. Hussein Arnous on Sunday inaugurated the project of irrigating the town of Khanaser and its environs in Aleppo province.

The project aims to irrigate Khanaser town and its surroundings, with a cost SYP 8 billion , and secure water for the town by drawing the Euphrates water to it.

Jeb Ghobsha al-Seine project in the eastern countryside, which costs SYP 5.2 billion in the first phase, it aims to secure a stable and safe water by drawing water from the fourth channel to deliver drinking water to 50 villages through two phases.

Minister Arnous said , in a statement to reporters, that the importance of putting these vital projects into service, in conjunction with the 6th anniversary of Aleppo victory, and according to the directives of President Bashar al-Assad after his recent visit.

He added that the two projects are important and vital for the people of Khanaser town and Jeb Ghobsha al-Seine.
