Damascus, SANA- The Arab Writers from 12 Arab countries participating in the meeting of their General Secretariat in Damascus discussed setting programs, work mechanisms and future plans in confronting normalization with the Israeli entity.
Secretary-General of Arab Writers, Dr. Alaa Abdel-Hadi, stressed, during the meeting held on Wednesday, the importance of the meeting to renew support to Syria in its war against terrorism and in defending its sovereignty, land, freedom of decision and independence, reiterating the importance of the meeting in terms of strengthening Arab solidarity and confronting normalization with the Israeli occupation.
Chairman of the Arab Writers Union in Syria, Dr. Mohammad al-Horani, pointed out that the conference’s agenda includes discussing the cultural plans in light of the great challenges, such as the danger of normalization with the Israeli occupation, and to concentrate on defending the Palestinian cause.
The participants in the meeting stressed that the meeting constitutes a cultural form of supporting Syria and a strong liver for cooperation among the Arab intellectuals.
