Russian army destroys hundreds of Ukrainian military sites

Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry has announced that its forces destroyed, during the past 24 hours, hundreds of manpower and military equipment mobilization sites, including dozens of command headquarters.

In a press briefing on Monday, the Ministry’s official spokesperson Major General Igor Konashenkov said that the Russian forces also downed three Ukrainian fighters and 13 drones, as part of its ongoing special military operation to protect the residents of Donbass.

Konashenkov added that with the use of high-precision and long-range missiles from naval base, weapons and combat equipment of the 10th Mountain Offensive Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed in the vicinity of the Malyn railway station in Zhytomyr province.

Konashenkov said that four command headquarters and a communications node of the “Sever” tactical operational group were also destroyed in the Donetsk People’s Republic, 48 sites for the mobilization of manpower and combat equipment and six ammunition depots in different towns in the Lugansk People’s Republic, as well as an anti-air Osa AKM missile system in the vicinity of Bakhmut town.

Konashenkov noted that operational and tactical aviation had targeted 39 sites to mobilize manpower and combat equipment, and destroyed a weapons depot in the Luhansk Republic, as 230 Nazis were killed and 33 pieces of Ukrainian combat equipment were disabled.

The spokesperson stated that, during the past 24 hours, the Russian air defense forces shot down three Ukrainian Su-25 and 13 drones, including one of the Bayraktar TB2 model, and two Tochka were intercepted, and 8 Shells of Smerch launchers in Kherson and Kharkov regions and the Donetsk and Lugansk republics.
