Deir Ezzor, SANA – Army units repelled an attack by ISIS terrorists on al-Tharda mountain and Huwaijet Saqr and restored security to areas in al-Meraiyie village 10 km east of Deir Ezzor city.
An army unit destroyed ISIS bases in al-Meraiyie, destroying 17 vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns, seizing weapons and equipment, and eliminating tens of terrorists while others fled the area.
Another unit repelled an attack by ISIS terrorists on al-Tharda southeast of Deir Ezzor, leaving many of the attackers dead or injured, while another unit repelled an attack by ISIS terrorists on the town of Huwaijet Saqr near Deir Ezzor city, killing larger numbers of terrorists in the process.
Hasaka
Army units established full control over a number of villages in Hasaka eastern countryside.
SANA reporter said the army restored security to the villages of Rad Shaqra, Khashafat, al-Masoul, al-Dawodyeh, and Abu Saad farm in Hasaka eastern countryside after eliminating ISIS gatherings in these areas.
Huge numbers of ISIS terrorists fled after dozens of them were killed and many of their vehicles were destroyed during the operations.
Damascus countryside
Meanwhile, a military source told SANA that the army established control on Dahret al-Marhiyat and Dahret al-Wardeh and Maadar village in Kafer Yabous in Damascus countryside, killing many terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called Ahrar al-Sham.
Idleb
Army units destroyed two armored vehicles and five vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns in al-Bara archeological village in Jabal al-Zawya.
A military source told SANA that an army unit killed and injured a number of terrorists in al-Bashiryeh area in Jisr al-Shughour and in al-Akrad Mount.
In Idleb southern countryside, the army targeted with artillery terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in Saraqeb, killing and injuring scores of terrorists and destroying their weaponry and munitions.
Homs
Army units targeted ISIS terrorists in Rahoum, near Raqqa, and killed and injured scores of them, according to a military source.
The army also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Umm Sahrij, al-Mishirfa al-Janoubyeh, Aydoun and al-Rastan and killed and injured a number of terrorists.
Daraa
A military source said that army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Saida, al-Tayba and al-No’aima in Daraa countryside, killing scores of non-Syrian terrorists, destroying two ammunition and fuel caches and destroying a number of machineguns- equipped vehicles.
