Daraa, SANA- Head of Sanamen City Council in Daraa northern countryside was martyred and another citizen was wounded as a result of shooting at them by unidentified gunmen this morning in the town of Sanamen.
SANA’s reporter in Daraa stated that at about seven in the morning, unidentified gunmen directly shot Head of Sanamen City Council, Engineer Mahmoud al-Mohammed al-Atma who was accompanied by one of his acquaintances in the area near the municipality building, killing him instantly and seriously injuring the other person.
Dr. Khaldoun al-Karrad, Assistant Head of Daraa Health Directorate, told SANA reporter that the body of al-Atma arrived at Sanamen Military Hospital, and he died as a result of being shot in the chest and head.
Last Thursday, Head of Jasem City Council in Daraa northwestern countryside of, Tayasir al-Uqlah, was martyred when unidentified gunmen fired at him in the center of the city.
