Health Ministry: 129 new coronavirus cases recorded, 19 other cases recover, 5 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Friday that 129 coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 19 other cases recovered, while 5 passed away.

The Ministry stated in a statement that the total number of the coronavirus cases reported in Syria has amounted to 28,174 till now, of which 22,510 have recovered, while 2023 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first death from the virus was reported on the 29th of the same month.
