Moscow, SANA- Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergey Vershinin, reiterated his country’s stance that calls for the political solution to the crisis in Syria on the basis of adhering to the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In a statement on Tuesday, Russian Foreign Ministry said that Vershinin and the UN Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, stressed during a phone call the importance of going ahead in the track of the firm ,permanent and political solution to the crisis in Syria based on the adherence to the state’s sovereignty and territorial integrity according security council resolution No.2254.
The two sides also discussed issues about holding another meeting of the formulation board of the Committee of Discussing the constitution in Geneva to continue the Syrian-Syrian dialogue under the United Nations’ sponsorship, the Ministry added.
