Coronavirus death toll surpasses 760,000 worldwide

Capitals, SANA – The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused the death of more than 760,000 persons around the world since it first appeared in December.

Worldometer website which follows up on the spread of Coronavirus reported on Saturday that the death toll of the virus around the world has reached 760,000, while the total number of Coronavirus cases reached 21,387,785 and the recoveries reached 14,169,357.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported 498 new cases and 3 deaths during the past 24 hours.

The Saudi Ministry of Health announced 1,413 new cases and 31 deaths, indicating that total cases reached 297,000 while total deaths reached 3,369.

In Qatar, the Ministry of health announced recording 277 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 11,4809, while the death toll reached 192.

In Iraq, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 4,294 new cases, bringing the total cases to 17,2583, in addition to reporting that 76 deaths have been recorded within the past 24 hours raising the death toll to 5,785 cases.

In Mauritania, the Ministry of Health reported 23 new cases as the total number of cases reached 6,676 including 157 deaths.
